Popular comedian Raju Srivastav passes away: Prime Minister Modi condoles
The popular comedy actor Raju Srivastava passed away this morning (September 21). He was 58. The popular comedian breathed his last at AIIMS, Delhi, where he was admitted after suffering a heart attack on August 10.
Prime Minister Narednra Modi condoling to the demise of the actor sharing a file photo on social media wrote, "Raju Srivastava brightened our lives with laughter, humour and positivity. He leaves us too soon but he will continue to live in the hearts of countless people thanks to his rich work over the years. His demise is saddening. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti."
Raju Srivastava was a popular comedian. He has been a part of several comedy shows. Srivastava was a part of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, Shaktimaan and others. The comedian also featured in many Bollywood films. He was recently seen as a special guest on India's Laughter Champion.
Raju will be cremated on Thursday, September 22 at 9.30 am.
